You are welcome to this space of community, honesty, and encounter with God.

Our gatherings begin with refreshments in the cafe. We then usually move into the church for a relaxed, informal service, with readings, prayers, and music, and sometimes we stay in the cafe for part or all of the service. There are often creative elements to our worship, and usually time for discussion with the people around us. Twice a month our services include Holy Communion.

You do not need to have any church background to join us for these services – all are welcome: regular churchgoers, occasional visitors, people who may never have been to church at all but wonder what it might be like.

This community is many things - you are welcome to be a part of it.
It is open. Questions are encouraged and cherished and there may not be absolute answers here.
It is a place of respect and tolerance. Consider the people around you - how they may be similar and different to you. Think about when to listen, and when to speak, when to be silent, and when to be loud.
It should be a safe space where everyone is valued, everyone is welcome. You can be yourself here.
It is honest. That might mean you hear things that surprise or challenge you, that change your mind, that you disagree with, or that upset you. If that happens you can talk to one of the leaders if that is helpful.
It is creative. Some parts might be different each week. It is a space to explore and try new things. It engages with the creative arts, with poetry, storytelling, music and art.
It is connected To the challenges and beauty of the world around us. To the other days of our week. To our work, and the causes which drive us.
It is historic. Rooted in an ancient space and engaging with the legacies of its past.
It is holy ground. A space set aside to encounter God, whoever that may be to you and whatever that may mean.
This community is many things - you are welcome to be a part of it. Welcome.
